What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is our all-inclusive fitness regimen that not only burns calories, but continually builds on overall speed, strength and core stability. Our licensed personal trainers supervise small groups and use a varying workload capacity at a moderately high intensity. This helps see results quickly. CrossFit uses aspects from various different forms of training including strength training, conditioning, gymnastics, yoga, calisthenics , plyometrics and more. The sessions consist of various functional motions and activities that can be applied to any daily challenge or sport. Most if not all routines concentrate on high intensity work, and each workout is done with a group to encourage friendly competition and intensity.
The small group setting creates a healthy atmosphere for competition, accountability, and motivation. Our personal training supervisors are extremely encouraging, and they incorporate different moves to keep the workouts fresh. We want our patients to be challenged and enthusiastic about working out! We usually push our recent physical rehab clients to join CrossFit as a supplement after recovering through our physical rehab program.
There are also CrossFit Games held as competitions that you can take part in. These competitions are a great way to meet other CrossFitters and have fun while improving your health and well-being.
